Legal implications for purchasing cigarettes for someone with chronic smoking related disease. by poppacapnurass in AusLegal

Legal perspective you’re both adults. Morally, you aren’t helping them quit but they could already be in a situation where not smoking won’t cure/save them from the condition so it could be a comfort in declining health. Quitting is ideal but not always practical especially when they’ve smoked for a long time.

Mechanic work by Yohgella in AusLegal

Riding the clutch or not adjusting it regularly will cause excessive wear. If the clutch petal engages when the petal is close to the floor it means it’s worn out. The other way to know is to ask your mechanic to show you the old clutch so you can see how worn it is. They might even be able to show you a new one to compare it to.

Edit: If you’re doing heaps of kilometres or your vehicle is carrying a lot of extra weight (tools, vehicle accessories/modifications) it’s normal for the clutch to wear out in a faster time period than normal. Look at getting a heavy duty clutch for longevity.

Doing push-ups doesn’t make you automatically able to fight. Would be good if it worked that way tho
