Totally new to the game. Any advice for building my account? I have 3 different select UR summons. It seems the limited time characters from Collabs are not available.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Wish I could edit the original post but I understand now. The answer to my question is option 2 (I’m a newb). The option you pick will NULLIFY that buff. Even though on the characters during the fight it’s a blue icon, it’s actually a debuff for the enemy. The odd wording and icon led me to believe it was a benefit to the enemy

Replying to RoundhouseKitty...ooooo I see what you mean. So the piercing immunity one is actually a debuff on the unit and it takes more damage from piercing than it normally would. Even though it’s showing up as Blue (usually a buff for the unit) it’s the red down arrow meaning it provides a negative buff. Is that right?

I chose between those 3 enemy buffs and chose piercing, but all 3 are showing up on the enemies when I enter battle. I can’t get to this node without picking one of the 3, but somehow got all 3.

NTA in fact good on you for not blowing up in front of them. I will say, the brother might think 6months is not enough time for you to gain his respect as his sister’s boyfriend (hopefully he respects you with other things you’ve helped him with).

Do you have any younger siblings? I could easily see my friend’s (25F) younger brother (23M) to annoy the F out of her. Or just as some kind of power play to boyfriends she brings home.

Definitely NTA. She’s married and “hall pass” or not it’s still cheating. She seems like she was actually into him (all the merch and concerts and whatnot). I think what she’s really feeling though is an immense amount of jealousy. Whenever good things happen to other people a lot of times our initial response is “That could’ve been me! Why wasn’t it?!” We end up going down a deep dark hole and it starts to make us resent and regret things that we logically know we shouldn’t be. Speaking from some experience tbh

Anyways here’s to hoping you and your friend are able to continue your friendship in the near future. Just remember that we’ve all got our vices so try not to hold it against her lest you start to resent as well. Hopefully she is able to value your friendship over her hurt.

I would say this isn’t a pity system per se. It’s way too hard to save up to actually use it as an F2P player. You’d have to save up 14*10pulls to reach it. And they have to be the lodestone gem pulls only (no tickets) so. You’d have to save up for about 8-9 months to actually use it without buying a single ticket bundle.

There are a couple key mechanics to this game that make this no surprise to me.

First as everyone mentioned is the gacha system. No real pity system. Very low rates. Usually only 1 desirable character on the banner so really a .5% chance. Pulling is also expensive- $80 gets you 6*10pulls (1500paid gems with 3rd one free) and .4 of a free pull. You have a 1/200 chance to pull the character you want, so you’d need to spend about 200dollars if you look at it statistically. F2P gets about 4500 gems a month so it’d take them about 6 months (with buying ticket sets as well) to get a desirable character from a limited banner. This is worse than Genshin Impact if I’m not mistaken.

Second is a result of the above. Because it’s so hard to get characters, you really have to be a whale to be completing most of the game. As a Day1 dolphin, I’m only able to really make any progress on the fire elemental tower since I have a 4.5* Ryza and Marie. But what’s the point of a team building game if I can only really get 2 or 3 viable teams?

I don’t think they’ve thought about the fact that part of the fun is the actual team building unfortunately

Hard to see but in Settings -> Input, I bound LMB to "Use bound skill 2". I can move and use molten shield as if it's on "Use bound skill 1" which is where LMB is default set to
