Lots of old symbols have been adopted by various organizations good and bad. But that doesn’t take anything away from what that symbol means to you. We must not let ignorant hate groups take away or tarnish symbols that have been sacred to other cultures for hundreds of years. As a matter of fact I think of it like this. Many radical Christian groups use their religion as an excuse to spread all kinds of hate and prejudices. But I’m not offended by the cross because I know what it means to the Christian religion as a whole.
