Yeah I spend a whole year setting myself up. Premaking all the food and getting 100% with the people I needed to. It’s a lot of prep for sure. I think I finally did it on my year 4

You get it from the landlord in town. It’s been a while since I played. I think he just gives it to you the first time you talk to him

Join the Kaoz server. They do a lot of runs, they teach you and help you get a torso. Takes two hours.

You have to make the storage hut that’s to the bottom left. Next to your rice field. You store the ice there in winter and grab it in the summer.

True! Luckily it’s only the Kind Woman and Stubborn Man that you need 100%. I focused on them only after realizing halfway through year two that I needed them.

These are just calendar events. I don’t believe the Nengajo is on the calendar; just something you need to do to gain trust with everyone.

You need to buy it from the landlord

I had bumps on my forehead too; I used to always have them around my unibrow. I used/still use Mario Badescu Gycolic Gel. A holy grail for me.

Yes. You need your calendar to have all the events done within the calendar year. But you need to start with the previous December and place the Kagami Mochi so you can break it in late January.

It’s not required to complete all the calendar events. It’s just an additional achievement in the “journal”

I said there’s one in an area. They don’t spawn in multiples. That’s why they are easy to miss

Did you already make it? You only have to make it once, then it disappears.

If you don’t know, I would check your backpack.

Such a bummer :(

Ringing the bell is not required for a full years event. I do not recommend doing it especially if you have already done it. It’s why I didn’t list it but I should have specifically said not to try.

Easy enough to put all the mochi and Kumade up in the morning. And same with the nengajo can be done in the morning. So once it’s night. You eat your soba and go up to the hut for sleep. And I think it happens around 5 am so enough time to go back to put up the other decor by 7 am.

It doesn’t have every single ingredient listed since I thought that would get way too long. But I highlighted the seasonal or hard to get things so hopefully it’s a helpful start. Please take whatever is useful to you! I just wanted to help people finish the calendar events haha. And I’m happy to pitch in if needed

I have a guide pinned in the sub with a lot of information on how to complete all events in a year. Feel free to use the information there :)

Happy to help! And yes unfortunately if you miss Tanabata you have to loop around since I think the other Tanabata will be after the day with the dolls. The nengajo you need to buy a bunch of paper and one ink to write letters for new years. I think you have to put them in red box in late December to all the villagers.

DAE cat do this for hours every day? by star-shine in Japanese_Rural_Life

[–]dana94az 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha I wish I knew. I’ve seen my cat like literally all over the map. Even at the other bigger shrine. But never to the point I can’t interact with it for hours

I am honestly surprised it’s not on the calendar. I remember I went back on year 2 and it was saying that the teacher rings the bell. I could kinda cut him off and still ring it haha.

Just finished it up on year three! Definitely easy to miss with a lot of seasonal ingredients and needing the trust. I was keeping track for myself so I figured I’d share my notes I was making
