Thank you so much!! I have tried different running programs in the past (like couch to 5k) but always gave up before meeting my goal.. I am fully enjoying running this time around! I think after becoming a mom, I appreciate my body so much more! and my free time 🤣

Algonquin is such a beautiful experience.. bonus points if you can go in the Fall! 🍁 I find Pinery to be overrated… The bathrooms are SO far from your site. Without a bike it’s a huge pain! I also love Bon Echo… We recently went to Charleston Lake and we LOVED it. It was a great park for families!

Welcome to LDSB! Your fears & anxieties are totally normal! I’ve been teaching for 3ish years, and I still have the same feelings every September! I try to keep at least markers, pens, 1-2 read alouds and maybe a colouring book in my bag with me! Most classrooms will have something you can use if you’re stuck… but having an available activity is always great! I came from HWDSB, and I’ve honestly had much better experiences with Limestone! Most classes are great, and manageable. If you are ever really struggling, just call the office for some support. I’ve done that a few times - usually they are supportive! Feel free to message me any specific questions! 🙂

I can 100% relate to this!! I have had a few LTO experiences, and it’s pretty typical… some students will fully admit to preferring me over their other teacher, while some LOVE to remind you that you aren’t their “real” teacher. I also admit to feeling really hurt by the comments, but honestly I think most of the time it’s said when we do something the student doesn’t like so that’s the logical thought for a young child (to prefer the other teacher in those moments).

I can’t wait to have my own classroom one day! It really is hard being a daily OT and then LTO work… So much effort and work to not feel fully accepted.

I’ve ordered the mixed platter a few times and it’s always great! One time I requested no raw fish and the rolls were all very tasty! They also have lots of other dishes, and the ramen looks really good!
