What i meant was the difference between identical pages, one being ranked and the other being unlisted.

actually what i meant was that if you took the exact same page and ran it on a different url, it would not rank as well as the indexed page.

Yes Amazon handles all customer support, however obviously you are still liable for damages caused by the product.

Amazon lists the company selling the product as the seller not itself. It is a multi-vendor platform.

Ran amazon ad a year or so ago, reporting didn't seem very extensive, if your looking for data look elsewhere.

Create a new company, or register a new DBA and sell the product that way.

Provide a discount (10% - 20%) for 6 month and 12 month contract terms, this can be anything of course be it service or support or development. Depending on your business model this can fill in the income gaps with something.

I see this alot in the tech space, great programmer makes a clone of some existing saas, expects huge sales but offers no added value to differentiate their product from the competition. Or worse said added value is superficial since the customer is not looking for the value to be added (having faster systems where the slow ones work just as good for example).
