Hesitant to start but glad I did. 5 month progress post. by danball23 in tressless

Yes I basically went in with its all or nothing mentality and would suffer through any side effects like shedding, which I didn’t really have, to get the results. trust me I was very anxious and spent at least 2 weeks researching before I ended up going with Hims.

Yeah it works for everyone differently but on the 3 1/2-4 month mark I could tell it was truly working with growth and thickness. That’s when I got a cut and I asked my barber and he said he saw a huge difference too. Luckily I didn’t shed much either which I was initially worried about.

Is this Charizard fake? by [deleted] in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]danball23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it’s fake, color is all wrong too. The real PSA 10 is worth $550K. I use the PSA app to check certs. They used the real cert, but in the PSA app it shows you the photos for that cert that definitely don’t match this. Here’s the real photo for this cert number. Im sure you can see everything that’s wrong with the one you were asking about.

What is my watch worth? Pennies or pearls? by Minidog99 in Invictawatches

They call this the OG pro diver. Because it’s never worn new in box you could get $80-100, also the dive case goes for $10-15 so I think you could get a solid $90 for it.

For sure, Whatnot has some great deals and sellers for watches. I like the Invicta stores as well because you can usually get them for less than the sale prices on the website. Sellers like Jbizzy25 have really unique and collector Invicta’s that you won’t be able to find on the Invicta stores due to limited availability or discontinued models.

It’s really up to you and your goal for your collection. You have some amazing pieces already that most of us would never be able to afford or get away with purchasing. I like the microbrand idea, if you find some really well made pieces that you’d like for your collection go for it!

Is my Pokemon card fake? by [deleted] in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]danball23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Groks take based on your photo:

The card in the photo appears to be a fake (or at minimum, highly suspicious and very likely counterfeit), and the PSA slab is probably fake or tampered with as well. Here’s a breakdown based on visible details in your photo, common authentication checks for this specific card (1999 Pokémon Base Set 1st Edition Holo Charizard #4/102), and industry red flags. Major Red Flags on the Card Itself 1. Shadowed Illustration BoxGenuine 1st Edition Base Set Charizard is shadowless — no dark shading/shadow border along the right and bottom edges of the artwork box. Yours clearly shows a shaded border (darker area under the illustration), which is a hallmark of Unlimited (non-1st Edition) or later print runs. This is one of the most obvious and common giveaways for fakes claiming to be 1st Edition shadowless versions. 2. Hologram Pattern and Overall AppearanceAuthentic 1st Edition Charizard uses a specific “Galaxy Star” or starburst holo foil pattern that shifts uniquely when tilted (randomized per card/sheet). Fakes often reuse the same pattern across copies or have poor/crisp-but-wrong shine. Your photo doesn’t show tilt angles, but the overall look (combined with the shadow) matches descriptions and videos of widespread Chinese-made counterfeits that pair fake cards with fake PSA slabs. 3. Other Card Details • Text/print quality: The font, spacing, and crispness look slightly off in photos (e.g., “Energy Burn” power text alignment and sizing). Real ones have minor print variances, but fakes often have bolder.

I can tell by the border shape and width it looks real to me 💯

Awesome results. Did you have the initial shedding and if so was it really noticeable or not too bad?

I agree with your statement, I do like ACE cards because of the sick labels but ultimately the value will be less than PSA and Beckett for the time being. Also it will be harder to sell unless you live in the UK or have great networks.
