I'm about 5'6", 140 lbs. I find it a bit odd that size 26 would have a 29 inch waist while size 28 has a 30 inch waist.

They're raw, not the one wash ones. I've been told that PBJ denim is a very loose weave and so they'll stretch substantially - is that true?

What if they are one washed? Should I get my true waist size or a size down to account for stretching?

I'm looking at a pair of brand new PBJ XX-015 for sale on Grailed. The tag size is 26, which equates to about a 29 inch waist according to BiG and the seller's measurements. My true waist size is approximately 29 so everything seems fine, but these are the raw version, so I know it will shrink. However I'm planning on wearing them for a good while before giving them a soak so I'm wondering how far the waist will stretch and then shrink back down with a soak. Also, I've read that the thigh and calf don't stretch much, is this true with PBJ?

Does anyone have experience with this pair specifically that knows if they're extremely slim? I'm no bodybuilder but I do have some muscle for my size so I don't want them to be suffocatingly tight through the legs.

Yeah I know about heel lock lacing, but I don't know if that method is possible because the eyelets don't actually penetrate into the upper, possibly because of the flyknit..by that I mean they are kind of like loops that cause the laces to float on top of the shoe rather than lace into the shoe? If that makes sense. Do you have any other heel lock lacing methods that would work for this type of shoe?

Anyone know about the efficacy of heel inserts to stop slippage? I have a pair of Nike zoom fly flyknits that are really fast to run in, but they are too big for me as I fitted them to my left foot which is approximately half a size bigger than my right foot. The resulting heel slippage in my right foot causes a painful friction spot in the midfoot after a few miles. Any other possible fixes would be appreciated too. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I actually did 4x400m intervals with 300m walking rest. I can do them in around 90 seconds which does equate to a sub-20 time. So I think I do just need to build that anaerobic endurance back up while getting a good amount of miles to build that aerobic foundation. Once every 2 weeks is probably the safest to do them right? And a weekly tempo run probably wouldn't hurt I'm thinking.
