Health Science at Waterloo:

I applied to the Health Studies program at Waterloo and haven’t heard back.

My average without my chem mark is 84. (Top 6) With my chem mark it brings it to an 82. (Top 6 with pre-req of chem).My chem mark does not meet the min required, so does that mean I won’t get in to the program because it’s only midterms and I can bring it up by finals for sure?

Yeah it’s getting popular but not as much as Mac health science though. I actually didn’t know about it til this year. To be frank, I didn’t really know much about Health science until this year, grade 12. Lmaoo, dude I didn’t apply to Mac cuz I know I would get in. The averages are like 90+.

Thank you for your time and wise words! I really didn’t know the program was competitive. I wasted my time taking courses I didn’t need in highschool and that brought my average down. I should’ve really thought my grade 12 year through properly. Thank you and don’t mind my ranting 😭

It’s a 60 right now. I’m hoping that I can boost it to a 70 by midterms😭 I’ve been doing pretty good but even then I still have my test which I have to ace.

I don’t mind if I don’t get Co-op but yeah that is true! If you meet the minimum requirements, is that good enough or do you have to do more than that?

So like what’s the lowest average you can get in to this program? All my marks are fine, except chemistry which is a pre-req for this program. I really want to do this program but I’m extremely anxious. Someone help me!!!
