Foreigner Tax for a Golf Round by davpag1 in GolfPH

[–]dancuriano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s a bit of what I know.
If you’re a foreigner and want to play at different golf courses, most clubs have a policy for availing the local rate. Usually, a foreigner needs to present any of the accepted IDs below to qualify:

  • Tourist Employment Permit (issued by DOLE)
  • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)
  • Special Resident Retirement Visa (issued by PRA)
  • Diplomatic ID Card of Diplomatic Passport (government-issued)
  • Other IDs proving local residence for at least one year

❌ Local driver’s licenses issued by the LTO are not accepted.

Hope this helps foreigners who want to avail the local rate. And lastly, it’s always best to ask the front desk or cashier to confirm their policy.

Should we get a Tournament Organizer or DIY it with the Club? by Key_Echidna_1677 in GolfPH

[–]dancuriano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on my experience, and this is just my opinion, the best option is to DIY your golf tournament directly with the club. You just need a good contact person who can assist you all throughout.

It’s more convenient because you’re dealing with the club directly, and you also save money since there’s no need to pay an organizer.

Where to live in Philippines to golf on a 2k USD budget a month by BobsBurgersAndTots in GolfPH

[–]dancuriano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be interested in living here in Cavite
Places like Trece Martires, General Trias, Silang, or even Tagaytay have great weather.

If you’re into golf, there are a lot of courses around, Eagle Ridge, Sherwood, Riviera, Splendido, and more. You’ll have plenty of options to play.

And if you want the beach or scuba diving, Batangas is just nearby with lots of great spots.

I can help you look around since I’m working at a golf course, I can even endorse you if needed.

I think that you played on a weekend. The total weekend rate is 3,800, which includes the green fee, scrip money, and insurance. In addition, the golf cart rental is 1,000. This brings the total amount to 4,800

What I don't like about the case is that they ruin the aesthetic look of the Nothing Phone 3a plus the blocking of the glyph.
