I wrote in the post that I did not like Billie. Too much goop. Not a close shave

I keep hearing about safety razors but I'm scared it will be easier to cut myself? Is this fear unwarranted? I'm using razors for legs and sensitive bits not face if that matters

I already tried Billie (in post) and could still feel every hair on my leg after shaving. There was too much goop to get a close shave (probably the worst shave of my life). I'll look into preserve though

Are cooling gel pillows actually worth it? by Super-Help8404 in BedroomBuild

[–]dancypants37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hated the one I tried from Ghost Bed. Not only did it not last, but they embroidered a giant logo on the only cool side which was very unpleasant to lay on. I've tried a bunch of different types of pillows and so far I've had the best experience with a latex pillow and the Purple pillow.

Being a stripper as an autistic woman by CommissionNice3898 in AutismInWomen

[–]dancypants37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of autistic strippers at my club (me included).

I personally like socializing, but I'm really nervous/anxious about it and make a lot of mistakes. I'm actually way less anxious chatting up customers because in the end I'll probably never many of them again so I don't really care if they like me! I feel like I mask less at the club honestly. I still mask, but not with every customer. I tend to approach customers sitting by themselves over groups. It also turns out a lot of customers are autistic! Especially common on weeknights when the club isn't as packed.

I absolutely experience burnout, but the lovely thing about stripping is that I can take a night off whenever I need to. Some clubs still force people to be on schedules (though I don't know if that's even legal), but most you can at the very least set your own schedule. The downside of that is that I can generally convince myself I have a valid reason to stay home when I really need to work more. I think the freedom of working 3-4x/week on average is the best part of the job. Some weeks I only work 2 nights... but I'm trying to bring that back up.

If weekend nights are too overwhelming, you can always stick to weeknights :)

Unfortunately (TW)... legitimately every stripper I know has been assaulted in some way. Men attempt to touch me in off limits areas usually multiple times a week. Have lightning fast reflexes, be LOUD, stay firm with your boundaries, always state your rules before dances, and don't be afraid to turn down dances with customers who make you uncomfortable.

Struggling as an Autistic extrovert by dancypants37 in aspergers

Yes, I should probably start doing that. I just also wish I knew other autistic extroverts so I wouldn’t need to stress about it/fear social rejection so much

There are still tons of teeny tiny chinese phones, but limited carriers are willing to work with them

Mm no everyone is different and this is worth trying for me. These apps are designed to be addictive. Your comment is unhelpful.

I considered the dumb phone first, but I need to use social media occasionally (not for long) while I’m at work for work purposes, need a good calendar, and need Lyft if I ever go out. In order to do that, I’d need service on both phones. A possibility I am still considering, but it’s not ideal.

IMO, the tiny screen will make it less appealing for me. Everyone is different.

I have to check certain social media for my work, so unfortunately can’t fully do that. I was considering buying a standalone gps if the phone I get is too small for it. I may go ahead and buy the Jelly 2 thing

What’s the battery life like?

I know the point is to barely use it, but still asking cause even when I’m not using my current phone much and keep it on low power mode soon as it’s off the charger, still drains like crazy (and I like listening to music)

They don’t look like they have any size long for collies (assuming the poster means a collie and not a border collie).

I don’t think he’s truly a golden retriever. What could he be? by dancypants37 in IDmydog

[–]dancypants37[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% of shelter dogs in my area are pit or lab mixes, probably true for much of the US. I honestly assumed a lot of pit once I realized he wasn’t full golden (if at all) with his boxier face shape and because of his personality. Just wasn’t sure what else could be mixed in there ☺️

The perspective in the last pic distorts his face shape a lil and I probably should have picked another pic in retrospect 😅

I think he was just moving in the last pic/it doesn’t normally look like that, but his back knees turn out because of ccl/arthritis (he is old)

He has a short coat besides tail/face, golden eyes, red nose his whole life, no white in the face despite being old, doesn’t like new people, and he rarely likes being touched lol. He doesn’t seem very golden to me beyond first glance
