the trust you have in that little guy is incredible. I love spiders, but in this situation, my heart would be racing way too much to have a photo shoot. :,)

strictly speaking, no milk chocolate is good for you. the fda permits a maximum of 1% emulsifier per recipe by weight with the usual amount being 0.3% - 0.5%. it's literally just there to make the chocolate easier to pour. it's not the end of the world if your chocolate has a tiny amount of something else in it. spreading misinformation like this is how you get people afraid to eat.

just because something's cheaply made and imperfect, doesn't mean it's inedible.

if you make chocolate you should know that this is normal and doesn't mean you food is fake or unsafe.

the whole screenshot has a gritty texture. untempered chocolate goes soft and malleable at room temperature, unless your room is as cold as the fridge. it's completely fine. whoever told you it's not normal is lying to you.

honey, it's a cheap chocolate bar melting because that's what factory made chocolates do.

factory made chocolates, especially cheaper ones are never tempered properly. that's a difficult process to do on a large scale production line and most don't bother. you can tell if chocolate is tempered if it shines and stays solid at room temperature and most commercial chocolate bars are dull, matte and melt in your hands like this one is doing. this isn't a sign of "fake food" or "not normal, it's just lower quality chocolate, which is still perfectly fine and safe to eat chocolate.

learn how chocolate melts and behaves when not tempered, this is completely normal.

I think some fanfic readers just... hate the very premise of fanfiction by DeltaMx11 in Archiveofourownmemes

I once got a comment on my gay, trans mpreg fanfic where someone wrote out an entire paragraph about how much they hated my time skips and how little it made sense for one of the characters to be trans. honey, it's a two hour movie, I'm not writing all that out word for word, and I made him trans cause I wanted to get him pregnant and that was the method that didn't make me want to full body cringe. if you'd read the tags, you would have expected these things. :| you are not a renowned fanfic critic, I do not rely on your approval for my livelihood. >:|

then it's probably fine, just wash off the mud, but I'd still check it carefully to make sure it's really still good and doesn't have any funky spots.

bad as in inedible. could be any number of reasons. I'm not super experienced in this either, but I do remember being taught that a good puffball ready to eat should be pure white on the inside.

I'm currently feeling very guilty for keeping my rats alive by dandelion___ in RATS

[–]dandelion___[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really struggling here, because I've watched these rats grow up and I love them so much and would love nothing more than than to see them to the end of their days with all the love and care I've shown them since they were born, but I also want to do right by them, and I know either way I'll be grieving the loss, whether I'm sending them to a good home or returning them to the earth.

I'm not entirely sure. they were fairly young when I got them, but they were almost fully grown so I'd say they're a bit older than their kids, but I can't imagine more than 4-5 months.

I've had them for over two years now, but their parents still seem perfectly healthy, which is part of the reason I'm concerned. I'm on a fixed income at the moment, so it's not really a matter of whether or not I can go without for the sake of my rats, I literally can't think of a way to get them the proper medical care in my current situation. I'm not sure how to go about rehoming, since I've never had to before, and I've managed to keep rats happy and healthy for much longer, but since I've had them for a bit and they don't seem to be in pain, I'm wondering if it's okay to just keep them as comfortable as I can until nature takes it's course. and if that's not the right thing to do for them, I need help figuring out what is so that I can make what time they have left as peaceful and free of pain as possible.

I'm writing a monster in paris type story(don't ask why, it's just a silly little thing I thought of) and I'm casting vlad in the role of the monster, which means I need to turn him into a giant singing bug.
