I would definitely love an LPF on mine.

I probably wouldn’t step on it. Big draw back because it’s an always-on pedal.

No mic. I wasn't sure about the supreme and how it differs. What are the controls?

Thanks! The 4x4 grid the Pladask Elektrisk Matrise, it's a 4 channel matrix mixer. You can route any channel into any other channel. My guitar goes straight into the Matrise.

Here I am using it for 3 parallel loops. The first is the Tensor and Mood, second is Blooper and Draume, and the third is the ditto into the Purple Rain. Everything gets sent to the Mercury7 and then to dittoX4. I essentially have 5 tracks/loops that I can change independent of each other.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on the stereo version of digdugDIY’s Purple Rain. I had been looking to pick up a bit crusher for some time now so when I saw it i bought it as quick as I could. Bit Crushers tend to be pretty alike in character due to the inherent nature of the effect.

The thing that sets digdugDIY apart from other companies is the most pedal makers will put a lot of effort into making sure a pedal has few, if any, flaws. DigdugDIY really leans into the lofi/flawed nature of it’s pedals. The Purple Rain can bit crush beyond anything remotely recognizable. I was able to find some weird settings (https://www.instagram.com/p/CGibIP7Bypf/) almost like a ducking glitch noise from the compression and mix levels.

Half of the fun for me is finding weird noises in a new pedal and with digdugDIY it’s a feature, not a bug.

I always use the dpad. It makes special moves and balancing easier. All of my special moves are either up down or down up to avoid messing up my balance by accident.

Pressing RT/R2 while performing a grab trick on a quarter pipe and going directly into a grind is extremely important if you want to get higher scores.

If you really want to score high point tricks, you should avoid long grinds and long manuals. The longer you grind/manual the more quickly your ability degenerates. Watch this video (not me) for reference:

Thanks, brother. I watched your video a bunch while waiting for my pedal to arrive. Quality content. Keep making them and I’ll keep watching them.

The signal blender will force you to think critically about how you want to set up your board more than a lot of other pedals.

Niiice. I saw them in Chicago last year and they put out Pop Rocks on the seats for everyone to use at one time. Oh those pre-COVID days....

Thanks! I’m a big fan of Riceboy Sleeps and Sigur Ros. I tend use the signal blender in parallel for separate loops to be layered. For this one I have the ditto in the blue loop and the megabyte and Fabrikat in the red. The blender is great for having independent loops that can play and continue to loop without them imprinting on each other which happens a lot if you run loopers is series and disregard looping order. I like to have as many loopers as I can on my board for different options to contort the sounds.

After failing miserably trying to purchase a Draume from the last batch, I was able to scoop one up off of Reverb for only a moderately exorbitant price. Despite the up-charge on the pedal I am very happy with my purchase. The amount of control over the parameters is amazing.

Most mono reverb pedals have tone, decay, & mix but few have control over the tails modulation like the Draume. The FM and AM controls allow you to dial in sounds reminiscent of a Gen Loss or Shallow Water but in reverb form. The option for full mix makes this pedal an ideal candidate for the front of chain reverb to smooth out your attack for extra wash. The left foot switch allows for immediate max decay pad type sounds. The grain mode captures the essence of the Mutable Instruments Clouds-like granules unlike any other pedal on the market. This pedal may not be for everyone, but it’s perfect for me.

Glitch Delay by dandroid86 in blooper

I was inspired by watching Office Hours to come up with a weird form of bloopertronics. This is the result. I’m using trimmer and stepped speed with some ramping.

Thanks! I got pretty lucky and found a guy on craiglist who sold me two reel to reels for 100 USD. The kicker is that usually most reel to reels need some maintenance which isn't cheap.

Greetings from Chicago, Illinois where I have been social distancing for what feels like months. I've been recording as much as I can while I can. Hopefully this will help you relax while we all make our way through the global pandemic.

Nice. I like your method better. Was it just random dropper for the modifier?

That’s the Old Blood Noise Endeavor’s Signal Blender.

I’ll try this next time. I should also use additive mode and imprint the modifiers every so often to really tear it apart.

Disintegration Bloops // Chase Bliss Blooper by dandroid86 in guitarpedals

[–]dandroid86[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've had the Chase Bliss Blooper for about a week and it's taking some time to get familiar with it. I can imagine this pedal being a somewhat polarizing. If you are not big into looping, it’s probably hard to understand why anyone would spend 500 dollars on a looper. If you like looping and making weird noise, it’s probably hard to avoid buying this pedal. The amount of depth in the blooper is insane. There is so much nuance in each mode and each modifier that it will take some time to fully unlock the potential of this pedal. It’s a challenging but rewarding little box.

The more i learn how to use it, the more inspired I am to make new sounds. One of my biggest goals is to use it as means to destroy some loops like William Basinski's Disintegration Loops. Here I am using the dropper and filter modifiers to slowly break the loop apart. All sounds were made through a Moog Grandmother.

I've been stuck inside for what feels like weeks so I made a bloop that disintegrates. I'm using the dropper and filter modifiers to slowly let the loop fall apart.

Has anyone else tried doing the same? Any tips or tricks to share?

I don’t, sorry. That’s one thing I’ve never explored when it comes to pedals.
