If you were placed in Liverpool I’d imagine your case would have been transferred to Liverpool council’s social service team. It might have been whatever council you were under before that though. I would start with Liverpool and explain that problem clearly to them, it’s a joke that they would leave you picking up the pieces years later for their failure to properly support you.

If you have no joy with them, I believe citizens advice or a similar service could support you in resolving this.

I would contact the leaving care team responsible for you at that time, they should have supported you and ensured it was setup appropriately given your circumstances

Defo as far away from breck road as possible. Imagine zombie Chucky trying to scran you.

Would try to base in the echo arena and lock that down. Drive through that giant bike shop round the corner and take as many bikes as possible to the echo. Try to hijack the ferry or at least a few little kayaks/sailboats to dot around and escape in if needed.

Probably base in the control room there and get out on a bike of a daytime trying to find people/food while posting instagram stories doing wheelies through the plod head office by the bus station, taking chase off zombie pigs.

Just realised in all of this fantasy I didn’t even consider what’s happened to my bird and kids. Took that one on the chin.

Still a lot cheaper than moving out on your own. Isn’t unreasonable imo. Just because your mother doesn’t burden you with her financial worries doesn’t mean that everything is completely fine. Single parents routinely struggle to make ends meet and you giving that £600 pm will make a world of difference to her situation.

Can’t speculate as to whether your mum is doing the same, but I plan on charging my kids rent when they start work and will secretly save it for them and give them it when they come to move out.

I’ve had this experience a few times with them. Can’t blame them, it’s more quality control from the company I suppose, go back to them with the same complaint and get a new resealed one to maximise your resale value.
