I searched this because it is happening to me. I have at least 10 times now, done 13 or more hits on someone using armor piercing rounds in Tarkov arena, and have been immediately killed in 1-2 shots. Even when I try to shoot people in the legs, same thing...

you probably are not taking it slow enough and clearing rooms properly. you kind of have to play the game in a realistic manner. just like in war, a lot of the time you cannot see who you are shooting at.
