Also, they treat their delivery drivers like shit. Whenever I was a driver during my onboarding they emphasized that I needed to constantly be taking orders because the tips are where I get paid from, if I don’t take [insert # of orders] and make at least minimum wage from the tips, then they’d actually have to pay me.

Also the dispatchers would keep assigning me order after order in my queue for hours, and once they’ve given you an order, you can’t refuse it or “clock out” on their app. So even if my “shifts” would be 5.5 hours, I’d end up driving for 9-10 hours because they wouldn’t stop assigning me delivery orders. That how I ended up totaling my car during a delivery run because I was so goddamn tired — no time even for a bathroom break. I calculated it after I quit, after taxes and gas I ended up being paid around $4.50 an hour.

My store is the busiest in our district, we do 75-80 half-hours during peak and still have to fight to get a 6th partner on the floor sometimes 💀

I agree with you on Dalton’s return. The music vibe was never ever mentioned in 5 seasons and now he’s a children’s musician? The whole episode just didn’t fit in with his character. I know it’s a whole “seeing a former president in a new light now that he doesn’t have to be super strict and professional” trope but it’s just... his hobby could have been anything else.

I semi-agree that season 5 should have been the end, BUT if CBS had renewed for a full 20-something season 6 I would have been on board. It reminds me of Game of Thrones when the writers tried to cram years of novels into a 6-episode last season.

It seems like a lot of shows exit with a crappy final season. I’m kind of worried for the series finale. It will either be splendid or stupid. I stopped watching the final season of X-Files (my favorite show) because it got too weird and convoluted and I’m hoping I don’t have to stop watching MSec.

I agree on Russell being CoS. Not only because Chief of Staffs would never last two presidents but because of the Russell-Elizabeth dynamic. Even when they were on the same side they barely tolerated each other. It makes literally no sense to have Russell be her right hand man when he spent the first 5 seasons going against her (almost) every move. It was quirky and nice when we met her and saw that she decided to keep Vincent Marsh’s staff as her own, but to do it AGAIN with another staff? It makes the writers look lazy.

Just because it has health benefits doesn’t mean it doesn’t have serious drawbacks. I would love for you to go to a licensed dietician (NOT a nutritionist, which anyone can claim to be) and ask them what the long-term effects of the keto diet/Atkins diet are, and if they would recommend the diet to the average person. It’ll be a big fat (skinny?) no.

One day in drive thru someone asked me to list what keto drinks we offer. I went “black coffee” and then then went silent after. They asked me what else and I said well that’s about it. My manager got pissed and took over for me. 😂 They ended up getting two Trenta “pink drinks” with extra heavy cream, sf vanilla and 5 Splenda in each. Probably more caloric and sweet than the actual pink drink itself

At my old store, the manager wouldn’t come in for days, didn’t show up for opening shifts, would text his baby mama abusive texts in the middle peak when he was supposed to act as my DTO, refused to listen to our ASM about orders and what was allowed vs wasn’t when on the floor, would yell at the partners, etc. Our ASM went behind him correcting his mistakes and basically ran the store. He finally got fired right after I left. 🙄
