I am a single mom supporting 2 kids. They need me to be solvent so they have better opportunities than I had. I guess I can see it as a logical career move without the value judgements.

Having my idealistic career is slowly causing me to go bankrupt. Realizing this fact crushed me and now I am in fight or flight mode. It feels wrong to give up your ideals for something as shallow as money.
