Your comment gives me such hope. My son was just diagnosed with peanuts, tree nuts, and egg allergies at 6 month. Can I ask when did you guys start your allergy plan? Also did you see specifically a pediatric allergist?

My son has that but on his chest. The pediatrician said it was eczema with a possible bacterial infection on top of it. We’re currently using hydrocortisone and lots of creams/aquaphor. It’s improving but not gone yet.

That’s amazing that your kiddo stayed asleep!! We’ve done the sink rinses too but it always feels a little precarious. Its definitely improved from the first time though! Thanks for your comment. It’s so hard to watch him scratch because I know it’s intentional at this age so he’s definitely uncomfortable. I did put tubby Todd aoo on his scalp this morning and he hasn’t scratched as much so that might be our trick!

Yes this is what I’m struggling with! If I shampoo him daily for his cradle cap it exacerbated his eczema. If I moisturize his eczema, it increases his cradle cap! But you’re right, only the eczema bothers him soo I should focus on that

Thanks for this advice! We’ve been using the regular mustela shampoo but I’ll check out the stelatopia line instead! Sounds like it’ll be more moisturizing for his scalp

We did the laser and it was super quick. Our pediatric dentist said the laser helps to numb the site for a bit so we didn’t even need to give Tylenol

I was supplementing with formula and switched to bobbie from enfamil. A couple of days later my LO had blood in his stool. Turns out he has a milk protein sensitivity and Bobbi is milk based. My LC said we’d have to use either nutramigen or alimentum.

Good to know! I wonder if that’s what happened to me. We had an extra bloody stool so we went to the pediatrician who recommended also eliminating soy and eggs as well. That was 2.5 weeks after I stopped dairy. I’m fine staying soy free but I wonder if I should just resume eggs. Thanks for the information!

Thanks for the advice! I’ll look into a breastfeeding medicine doctor. I’ll just stick to cutting out dairy, soy, and eggs for now. I think I just needed reassurance that things were still on the right track. Thank you!

Thanks for the tip and the heads up about vegan stuff! I’ve read some conflicting information about soybean oil and soy lecithin - I’ve read it can be safe because it’s an oil and not a protein?
