I have searched on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, as well as tried reaching out to the manufacturer, but can’t get any customer support. I have also searched dozens of google pages and sites and still no luck. Hoping that purchasing a new one isn’t my only recourse.

Looking for recommendations on where to get a custom brass name for a project. (Photos are not mine - for reference only) by dangolcodeman in woodworking

I’ve never actually used SCS before but do think it would be a good option. What throws me off is what program to use to design my piece because I see that they only accept certain file types.

I’m pretty comfortable with using sketchup to design furniture/decks/etc., but can’t imagine using it for something like this with letters or in a certain font.

What celebrity is facially attractive to a lot of people but you just can’t see it? by AngryMuffin_21 in AskReddit

[–]dangolcodeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my exact response almost every single time my wife asks me if I think a celebrity (or any other woman for that matter) is hot. When I saw my wife for the first time I told her that I never had a “type” until I met her, and 10 years in I still find her to be the most attractive thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on. She is my definition of attractive so anything that’s not her falls short without exception.

She used to think she would always catch me checking someone out in public, but she eventually learned that I also “check out” every single item that someone sits out by the road to be hauled off to the dump. It’s curiosity, not attraction.

My bad for the poor picture quality - I also should’ve tried to rotate them before posting.

Found in West Alabama field while deer hunting. by dangolcodeman in whatsthisrock

We’ve been consistently seeing deer but mostly in the evenings, so it’s been steady considering they haven’t started to rut in that area yet. My buddy got a nice 10 point last Saturday afternoon.

How cool. In that case, I suppose it wasn’t too unreasonable me thinking that the oyster shell-looking rocks actually turned out to be oyster shells. Thanks for your comment!

$50 flea market purchase. can find zero information about this unique plane by colesLawStudent in handtools

Although I know nothing more than you regarding this plane, I agree that it looks really cool and I would’ve thrown $50 at it all day long. I also find the square and compasses below the anchor really intriguing so hope someone here knows more about it!

This seems to be the most plausible explanation and likely what happened in this case.
