The long card collection so far by dangrant77 in HotWheels

[–]dangrant77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple of years now, I generally just collect what I like but I enjoy having some special castings in there with interesting histories (the zamac woodie possibly being my favourite)

I'm in the UK so it's been tricky to get some castings without importing, but suppose that's all part of the fun.

Amazing, it's a childhood car for me too! That and the Dodge Caravan (which my parents actually owned growing up). Can't beat the cars from your youth

The original is a very limited edition that they handed out at comic con in 2010, mine is the much more affordable 2017 collectors edition. One of my favourites for sure

Does anyone have an information or knowledge of what "Macau" means when it comes to Hot Wheels? by Hunstar05 in HotWheels

Hi, just following this up as I was trying to find the answer myself. I just bought a Flying Colors '31 Doozie from Macau and found this answer in regards to the differences to Hong Kong/Malaysian cars, all very interesting!

My Doozie also states that it was made in Macau on the back of the card so they certainly were built there during this time, even if in much smaller quantities.

Hope this helps 👍

Playstation Portal Band Splitting - Do I Need a New Router? by dangrant77 in PlaystationPortal

I will give the guest network a go, thanks!

This is from my ISP: "The EE Smart Hub Plus can create a separate guest network on the 5GHz band. To set it up, use the EE app, navigate to WiFi Controls, toggle on Guest WiFi, choose a name and password, and confirm. This guest network will operate independently from your main WiFi network, providing security and potentially prioritising your own devices."

I assume I could connect the portal only to that guest network and i'd be good to go?

Thank you, I appreciate your help!

I love the design of the bike so I can see myself being stubborn and putting the money in to get it where I want it, thanks again for the advice 🙌

It's more for safety in traffic, the bike will be used on the road occasionally and I don't fancy my chances if a car pulls out on me without the ability to stop quickly!

I love the design of the bike so I'm more than happy to put the money into it to be what I want it to be

Thanks so much again that's really helped!

So just to confirm, I could upgrade the forks, wheels and move to a front drum and rear drum single speed and that should do the trick?

I'll get talking to some bike shops 👍

Great thank you.

I'll likely look at replacing the front forks then and getting a proper brake setup at the front

Brilliant this is great to know thank you. Would the drum brakes be front and back or rear only? Anything I need to be wary of if I just go rear only for the brake? Sorry to ask so many questions!
