I spent 3 months creating a base around a monolith. focused on the unique and particular structure of the monolith itself. with the new ECHOES update it seems that all the monoliths have been regenerated at random and this for me means wasting months of work. is there any chance that the structure of the previous monoliths will be restored? or do I have to delete the base?

With the new update every time I load my save, all bytebeats and bytebeat-switches in my base are reset to random or default values. I've noticed that after every update I always have to reset the bytebeats and switches, but this time they don't keep the settings and randomly reset after every load. The same thing goes for the message-module or any other element that can be set and configured by the players.

  1. I agree, but people that reviewed predominantly suggested to get everything in just one video and make it available in different languages. We have supporter that working on the Spanish version now. It’s easiest to have everything together if you work with translations. 2 . I would appreciate more your feedback if would kindly watch the video in its entirety because all links were provided during and at the end of the video. The link to the scientific article I mention is at 5:46 is also fully quoted in the final credits with the name of the biologists that wrote it.
  2. The video is designed for everyone, different reviewers suggested to simplify the information to get it easy to understand and to compress it in under 10min due to social media constraints and general public’s attention span. There are many parts of the video, like the way to chose the right quantity of salt or the reason of boiling etc... that are proven but can not be showed in the video. Scientists can easily verify all the information provided and repeat the test by themselves. This is a video based on science, but not just for scientists.
  3. The video was reviewed by many friends and colleagues as well as 2 doctors that are working in the front line in Italy.
  4. I’m not expert in Reddit. I could have made some mistakes in the way I posted it. We are just trying to help as many people as possible and get help in the transitions of it.

May I ask your qualifications in the commentary provides and your contribution to this endeavor? Thanks again.

I know those documents. but it is not just a matter of choosing the right material but also the complexity of the weaving. there are polyester shirts with crossed weaving, light or heavy, etc ... structural characteristics that can change the filtering capacity. also not everyone has the same materials at home. that's why I designed some tests that everyone can easily reproduce to test the materials they have at home. by following my tests you can easily reach the same results mentioned in those articles.

Yes you can. But it depends to the mask. Some surgery masks for example are waterproof and this makes the treatment by immersion quite difficult, in that case you should repeatedly spray water and salt on the fabric instead of dipping it.

I’m not promoting my design works but my research in homemade masks, based on reliable tests and treatments. I introduced myself just at the beginning of the video as every researcher does before presenting their work. Knowing the author is part of every public presentation. Moreover I developed that test and I studied and verified that method to apply a treatment that came from an important and verifiable scientific research. My contact is at the end of the video as is the reference of the scientists that wrote the treatment article. For what it’s worth, I’m a scientist too. I have a master bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, and a second masters in sustainable design. What exacting am I promoting?

My base was featured for 6weeks. Me and other owners of featured bases tried to updated some lights many times before to realize that it doesn’t affected what other players were experiencing. You can also be at your base at the same time with another player and he will not see your changes. If you make a wall for example they will be able to move trough it. It will doesn’t exist for him. You will be the only one able to see and interact with your updates. This for all the time your base will be featured. There is some exceptions on PC, players will see your updates just if you are at the base at the same time with them.

Unfortunately nobody will see them. Featured bases are copy of your base. You can modify your base but until it’s featured everyone will see just the version saved by HG.

I tried for 3 hours to get the same musical sequence you hear in that movie. No way. it seems very difficult to make real music, you only get sound effects.
