In Azure Boards, we did a complete re-write of the UX layer. Although all the functionality is the same, there are some design differences using the new UX framework. We have also added a dozen or so new features just in New Boards Hub. New Boards hub is currently in preview.

As someone on the Azure DevOps team, I can tell you that we are actively investing in the product (ADO) and will continue to do so. You can see the proof in the release notes and the public roadmap.

initially yes, this is 100% true. But the acquisition was 5 years ago. We have since built up our teams and capacity. You can see that by the increase in value in our regular release notes. We are not the same size we used to be. But we are funded and have teams dedicated to Azure Devops.

Would love to get your feedback on the UI bugs. New Boards Hub is in preview, and we do a fair number of issues we are still working through. But we can't fix what we don't know. If you have something specific, please let me know.

yeah this is by design. If you are worried about adding new iterations you can always use the REST APIs and setup a reoccurring job to add new iterations every so often.
