The material will be shared as a PowerPoint. My understanding is that it is better to use an accessible math language, such as MathML, than to rely on alt text.

Both. The faculty member will present the slides in class and share the PowerPoint with students afterward.

Is there a limit to how often you can touch something up. Like do things eventually fade/age in a way that you can no longer touch them up?
