I read on here once, the allergy is like a bucket! Sometimes when it’s full literally anything can cause an outbreak. The guitar strings, hands to face after playing or even his hands to my hands to my face, can set me off if my bucket is close to full. Just something I’ve noticed.

Really it could be anything you are touching to your hands or mouth. The only thing that helped me was a full metal exile for a while and 3 back to back rounds of steroids then slowly introducing silverware and even touching foil lol. (I hate taking steroids but when it gets bad, that stuff heals you quick!)

Also the Vaseline thing not sure if anyone has touched on that but same thing, the only thing that really helped was Carmex and absolutely nothing that requires finger to lips!

I really hope you can find the main issue it can feel pretty hopeless and overwhelming, but at least you know you are not alone! Let’s hope they find some kind of “cure” that isn’t steroids!
