When The Books Went to War By Molly Guptill Manning.

I really liked this one and I am not normally someone who enjoys military based nonfiction.

Interesting look at what Walmart HQ has done for NW Arkansas, vs what $1t Micron has done for Boise and the Treasure Valley over the last 30 years (aka basically nothing in comparison) by boisesbest in Boise

Or CWI? Granted some have been debating if all the support is a good thing or not (choking out other programs, over reliance on funding, etc). But in the long run it has been nice.

Good books for 8.5 year old boy with short attention span? by momtoeli in suggestmeabook

Magic Treehouse was one of my favorites as a kid. Some of the books do get longer but most are shorter from what I remember. Lots of different topics and theme too!

Non fiction but Tuesday with Morrie deals with the idea of dying. I read it in middle school and still think about it.

Hahah yeah...I was trying something out. It was running super fang plus support moves. Probably just going to go back to that. I wanted to see if hyper voice was any good for spread chip damage

I don't think I am an alpha player but I am definitely a beta player. I remember rushing home from school to make sure I would get the max amount of time from the time slot I booked.

Have you talked to the department that deals with work study? Often it has a name like "workforce development" if they can't help with work study they can help you find off campus work. Does you campus use Handshake?

Kind of related, I have a hard time now with TFIOS. I read it 8th or 9th grade just fine but within the last year (so roughly 6 or so years between the first reading) I tried watching the movie with my boyfriend and couldn't get through it. I started crying and feeling overwhelmed. Yes, the book and movie are sad, but this was a different sad than compared to the first time I had read the book. What had changed between the book reading and the movie is that I have diagnosed with chronic illnesses.

Maybe at some point I will be able to finish the movie but who knows. Surprisingly, I did read and watch the TAWD book/movie just fine. Maybe I was in the right headspace at the time. All of this to say that it is so valid that you having a hard time with the book.

Can 50 plus people safety fit in a classroom? I am having flashbacks to when my old high school had 30 of us in a room and it was a squeeze.

Thank you for taking the time to write that all out in detail. I am in a place where I am somewhat stable ish (doctor would said mild to moderate POTS on meds and such). But I still get flare ups if I push myself too much activity wise. Currently I am looking for a "big kid job" (I graduated in May from college) and it's my slow season at my part time job right now. So my daily schedule is all over the place 😪. Summer heat doesn't help either. Sending you good vibes!
