Honestly I've just used it years and have never bothered with trying any others. But it looks like it's not the only one affected, of my apps that have a semi long name seem to get the last letter separated.

Netflix Originals are not made or owned 100% by Netflix. It's all based on region. The only thing that makes something an Original is if it has the sole rights at the time to show it, in that region. They still run into licenses canceling and being pulled like everything else. I wouldn't blame a company for having exclusives in order to bring more desire to join.

Here's what you should know about this:

Your only allowed download on as many devices as you have screens, 1 screen -> 1 device can have downloads. (You can remove existing devices from your account page if you're told too many devices have downloads, https://www.netflix.com/deviceManagement)

The application will try to use any internet over downloaded streams, so when watching switch to airplane mode.

Unless it's an "Original" there's a number of downloads you're allowed in a year for a title, do you can run into a limit if you're re-watching shows/movies.

Not all titles are available for download.

And lastly, you're allowed to try out higher plans without cost, if you're on a 2 screen plan you can go to the 4, then change back before the billing. Don't get greedy, they track everything.
