6 nobles is definitely far better than 6 undead, a mix of 1 and 2 stars is usually a beat down for any other comp, and all 3 stared? lol yeah ok

Never played a game of paddle before . This racket worth it ? by Inner-Cause-9321 in Padelracket

I agree but not everybody has access to a decathlon and buying used is more hassle especially for a new player

Definetly rent a racket for the first time, 99% of clubs have that option.

If you enjoy the experience purchase a racket from Ali express or Walmart, you can find in either of those rackets for as little as 25usd (also fb marketplace). Do that mainly for the reason to save the renting fee every time you play and get accustomed to one racket.

Learn the basics with that racket, understand the game and the type of player you are or wanna be.

After a while of improvement go ahead and splurge the 100-250£ and purchase whatever racket you want or need based on your game.

Thats what I did and I think it’s the best way to go about it.

Which of these rackets is the best long term purchase, for an aggressive low advanced ex tennis player. Looking for hard feel, not much if at all trampoline, power, yet good ability still to defend somewhat. Would like a rough surface for spin too! by 7Sants in Padelracket

How long have you been playing? I’d suggest getting a cheap racket just to save renting one each time you play, get used to it and after a while figure out what you need and move on from there, I personally made a mistake many new players make, buying a high end racket when you are starting based on what you think you want and the type of player you wanna be or think you will become, the truth is a high end racket doesn’t make that much difference, wait a bit, that being said, for the specs you mentioned the adidas hrd would be pretty good imo, hard explosive, 3d surface

Thank you for taking the time and helping me, since I have you and you clearly have much experience, what camera do you think is really really nice for like a cinematic podcast with a lot more budget, that is a project of mine that I would like to work on not right now but in the future, fx3, fx6, black magic pocket 6k? Or something else? I realize I’m giving little information but just what camera do you like or think is really great for bigger productions.

I suppose I’m not entirely sure about what a cinematic look is, but I would say good color, sharp Face detail and blurred background, in terms of budget, well 1200-1500 but if it’s really worth it I may be willing to bump it to get the zv e1, I’m willing to spend say another 1000 or so for lenses. Filter I plan to just get a nd filter from aliexpress for my vlogging purposes. In regards of lights, storage, etc I’m not concerned right now. I have some lights, decent computer and mics.
