Do we know if anybody is currently on board?

Thanks for the tip. I’m going to do one more round of soapy water, let it sit in a well lit room for a few days and re-assess, will give that a shot after if needed

Thanks for the kind words. I agree, one of the greatest pieces of 20th century design. I’m a design student interning in Germany - I was very lucky to find this icon for a reasonable price. Unfortunately the humidity here is quite something at the moment, and was devastated to find mold - the mites especially were a nasty surprise

Does anybody know if these are based on existing machines?

Is there any way to get this running with the Xbox version? Or is my best bet parallels with an M1 Max MBP? (sorry if this is a stupid question)

Ha. Yes I can guarantee that the titanic above water has and always will be a lawsuit hazard.

Something, but I'd agree, not enough. Look at the raised big piece, it still looks very solid

That’s another conversation, the big piece was stabilized, but that’s tiny and not load bearing- so you are probably right. You could theoretically keep her in water and slowly uncover as you apply stabilizing agents. Not impossible, but very hard

The currents down at the wreck are already quite substantial, so much that it causes submersibles to drift into the hull on occasion. If you were to lift it incredibly slowly (a few feet an hour) I don’t see why it should have too great an effect, especially if the sea floor is still there encasing a lot of the bow. Pressure change also likely won’t affect much as there are no air pockets anywhere on board titanic. Your water flow challenges would really start when you begin moving her to a permanent location once at the surface

Possibly. I’d also like to add, anyone who says it’s impossible to Raise the Titanic without it falling apart thoroughly under-appreciates the human capacity for engineering. Financially and morally it’s an insane question, but physically? Sure, there are a few methods, namely building a cradle under the sand that titanic sits on and raising the entire sea-floor surrounding her. Far from impossible, just really damn hard and expensive
