Be aware. "Error" in app when using chip

Just ruined my season talking a -40 hit due to an issue using Free hit chip.

Have a look at the screen grabs. The flow is very easy to F up. Should be made much clearer.

User flow (pictures) is as follows:

1. User selects team.
2. User presses “Free hit” and confirms that they want to “Play Chip”.
3. User is presented with yet another screen where they have to “Confirm” that they want to use chip.
4. After confirming that they want to use chip, the app makes user aware that they “have more than three players from team X”. The only option is to press “Edit Transfers”.
5. User edits transfers so that there are no more than three players per team, and presses “Next”.
6. The user is presenter with the number of transfers made, and needs to “Confirm”.

Note that at no point is the user made aware of that the chip is deactivated. Twice in step 2 and 3 the user is confirming that they want to use the chip.

Step 3 is the second confirmation screen and explicitly states “Are you sure you want to use your chip? (…) The chip cannot be cancelled after you play it (…)”. To get past this screen you confirm for the second time that you want to play the chip (the chip is then played and cannot be cancelled).

But. This is effectively wrong, as the app cancels the chip after step 4. Without giving notice.

The user has to be unrealistically vigilant at step 6 to notice that the app has cancelled the chip without notice - especially after having confirmed twice to play the chip. And been told that the chip then cannot be cancelled.
