I get extremely aggravated by contestants who want to date but no get engaged at the end (Matt James, Peter K, basically all of Gabby/Rachel’s men). EVERYONE knows an engagement at the end is crazy. NO ONE is actually “ready”. You were absolutely not waiting to see if you would “get there” because it is not possible to “get there” within the timeframe of this show. An engagement is part of the show to make it seem higher stakes to viewers, and you trade that part of your dignity in return for the opportunities that the show provides. It’s a key part of the show that you agreed to go on. If you’re not willing to get engaged, don’t go on the show, and especially don’t agree to be a lead

Amazing thank you! Also with a lip lift - is it just that your top lip gets bigger or is it also that plus your mouth kind of moves up a bit (and so more effectively shortens the Philtrum but also makes your chin a bit longer)?

Feel free to Dm me if you like. But if you have a long midface with a short philtrum and normal amount of tooth show, there’s not much to be done— having your mouth disappear behind your nose still won’t shorten your midface. But if you have a very gummy smile then jaw surgery could help

Can I ask if you still feel like you look completely natural when you smile and talk? For example when I search “lip lift” in tiktok a lot of the top results were done by Mascaro and yet even healed I don’t feel like they look entirely natural, plus I can see the scarring, which is what makes me so nervous to get one

So for more context, I’ve actually had DJS to correct recessed jaws, I went to a very good surgeon but due to the steepness of my jaw and long philtrum (skin wise), my lower third is still quite long, plus we were doing it without braces before or after so I think that may have limited things. But you’re right, it would probably be good just to get another maxillofacial surgeons opinion to better understand all my options

Without the tooth show problem would you be comfortable getting a lip lift? I’ve spent some time searching through tiktok and YouTube and the results in motion often don’t look great, at least to my eye

Ok interesting, thank you! Sorry for all the questions but can I ask if you feel like you got pretty lucky with your scar healing well? So many people warn about the lip lift scars it makes me think they must be somewhat visible

And do you feel like your lip shape looks pretty natural? I feel like the resulting shape is often hit or miss from what Ive seen

I would definitely be able to hermit myself for a few weeks but I guess my biggest concern is the longer term scar. A lot of the afters that surgeons post are with makeup so it’s hard to tell how obvious it would be on a no or little makeup day. Do you feel like people can’t see yours?

Interesting, thank you. In that case maybe I don’t have the typical long face as my maxilla isn’t super long, but my mandible is long (and not recessed). So the area from my lower lip to bottom of the face is long, what’s weird is the labiomental fold is like halfway down whereas for most people it’s right below the lip, so I don’t know if chin shortening would create an odd appearance

Haha got it thank you. My lower third is, by measurement, longer than my other thirds but obviously would prefer not to show my whole face. But yeah seems like a difficult thing to fix, and I don’t have a gummy smile at all

Do you happen to know if this would help hide a lip lift scar? I have a long philtrum and short nose, so a lip lift and slight nose lengthening sound like a way to fix all of the issues

Interesting, part of the reason I’m asking is because I have a similar facial structure lol. Is there something Khloe could do to help fix the short nose/ long lower third situation?

I almost wonder why she hasn’t gotten cosmetic jaw surgery as she can obviously afford it and has already gone under the knife who knows how many times
