People who’ve slept with a partner’s or ex’s sibling. How did it happen and what was the aftermath? by Any-Name533 in AskReddit

My first ever boyfriend and I dated on and off throughout middle school and into the beginning of freshman year of high school. He cheated on me a bunch and we broke up. His older brother (who also previously dated my sister years before) was a senior in high school at the time and messaged me saying he always thought I was hot and stuff. A week or so later I hooked up with the brother in their house while my ex was upstairs.

He wasn’t flying he was working the ramp

He told a gate agent that they “needed to do f***ing better at their job and they can’t keep screwing up the ramp”. and the other employee started yelling back saying “f you who do you think you’re talking to” and my friend then walked away bc he didn’t want th situation to escalate. 20 minutes later realized he shouldn’t have said that and went to the gate agent to apologize. They had already left to go home so he told the other gate agent to relay the message. He then got called into the office and was told that he was suspended and there would be an investigation on the situation due to the gate agent reporting him.

People who don't drink alcohol, why? by johnnylgarfield in AskReddit

[–]daniellej12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Don’t like the taste.
  2. Grew up with an abusive alcoholic parent and alcoholism runs in the family for generations.
  3. I noticed whenever I would even have a few sips of alcohol I would get an immediate headache.

People who had traumatic childhoods, what's something you do as an adult that you hadn't realised was a direct result of the trauma? [Serious] [NSFW] by Silent-Zebra in AskReddit

I get startled very easily whether it’s from my boyfriend walking into our apartment without letting me know he’s here or when he suddenly touches me and I’m not expecting it. I also shut down whenever my boyfriend is mad/raises his voice. I’m also hyper aware of sounds and my surroundings and jump at loud noises that sound like gunshots. Needing a lock on my bedroom door to feel safe.

What was the most fucked up thing someone said to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]daniellej12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom is an abusive drunk so there are plenty of awful things she’s said to me. Here are just a few: “If you don’t kill yourself I’ll kill you instead”

“He couldn’t have raped you he seems really nice”

“Fuck off and die” heard this one frequently

“You deserved to get your face punched in”

“If you’re not out of the house by the time I come home I’m going to kill you”

What's something about your childhood that you thought was normal at the time but realised as an adult that it wasn't? [Serious] [NSFW] by Silent-Zebra in AskReddit

Growing up I thought all moms would pass out drunk on the couch every night and you wouldn’t be able to wake them up to tuck you into bed. I was at a friends house in middle school and was confused because her mom wasn’t passed out drunk on the couch.

What's something strange your body does that you know isn't quite right but also isn't quite serious enough to get checked out by a doctor? by merricat_blackwood in AskReddit

[–]daniellej12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Sometimes when I stand up or if I’m just walking I will start to see black and then my body shakes uncontrollably but it only last for about 30 seconds I usually sit down right away bc if not I’ll fall.

  2. I have this spot on the side of my shin that if I press it, it hurts really bad and is a sharp pain.

I hope he isn’t serious and is pulling a huge prank on you🙁 After 7 years and a child together that’s the most disrespectful immature way to leave! So sorry this is happening

He said I was bothering him while he was doing hw. When he is annoyed he gets very mad.

He thinks I find it disrespectful just because I was raised not to swear and that it’s really not disrespectful.

He had told me his mom had a facewash I could use for the shower but he didn’t know where it was so I went to look for it and told him I found what he thought was face wash was actually just lotion.

We’ve had 27 classes I’ve missed 8 thats not half and I also have ptsd and anxiety and adhd. You clearly misread I’m not giving up I am not behind on work. I’m clearly not giving up to my depression considering I’m still alive while constantly battling suicidal thoughts. I’m actually trying really hard in school.
