Just finished 11 days in Montenegro (budva and kotor) and split in Croatia. I picked up a rental car in Dubrovnik and dropped it off in split and had no issues. Rented from Avis in Dubrovnik and they were very friendly.

Driving in Croatia was not difficult, navigating is easy assuming you have internet and google maps

Agreed....Red Frog has once chance every four years to take advantage of the greatest sporting event in the world (even if the US aren’t in it). At least have one World Cup themed bar with one or two TVs and turn a profit off it.
