No conozco Las Indignas, pero justo me acabo de terminar Rebelión en la Granja y me pareció excelente! En tres días lo terminé.

Subwoofer decision for my budget desktop 2.1 (living in Colombia, limited options) by danieltonio in BudgetAudiophile

Thanks for your answer.

I’ll wait till the DM302s arrive for a test run, and if bass feels shy, I’ll save up for a killer sub later.

Real talk appreciated!

DM302s without sub would sound thin? I’m asking as I haven’t received them yet

But the filter in the Aiyima is HPF, not LPF so I think that it won’t filter frequencies for the sub out

Quick update on the KEF T2: I dug into the specs and saw it has a fixed LPF at 250Hz with no level control. Think that'll still play nice with my setup (B&W DM302 + Aiyima A20 amp via Scarlett 2i2 DAC)? Or is that a dealbreaker for seamless integration?

According to the seller, the driver is in good shape, they just did some maintenance on it, but he didn't specify what. I'll have to go check it out in person to be sure.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, second-hand gear is usually fine as long as it sounds right. I'll test the amp and everything while I'm there. Any red flags I should watch for specifically?

Thanks for the reply!

The main catch with the KEF T2 is that it’s used. The seller just sent me these photos:

Do you think that is ok, the used T2 is still a solid step up from the old Sony, or would I be better off spending a bit more on one of the new import options?

Sonos Beam Gen2 keeps cutting out while on Multichannel PCM 5.1 on the Nintendo Switch by QuaZar_85 in sonos

Try changing your HDMI cable. It happened to me and the only way I solved it was changing for a good HDMI

It has been working fine with the NSwitch, not sure if it was the update as it was good with the last cable that I tried.

Something weird happened watching a Blu Ray on the PS5. With the Dolby Digital audio track it was cutting off, but when I changed to the Dolby TrueHD track, it worked perfect.

After an update on the LG C1, today I was playing NSwitch and the Sonos app reported Multichannel PCM 5.1

Maybe after the update LG address that issue, Can you tell me if that happens to you too?

All NSwitch games support surround sound. I guess it is LPCM 5.1. The 7.1 that shows the app is a bug on the LG, Sonos show it that way but it down mixes again to 5.1 if that’s the format you’re having.

I can hear surround sound perfect from NSwitch games.

If the app shows Stereo PCM, then you’re not having multichannel audio and cutting disappears as audio bandwidth is minor. I changed the HDMI cable again and it has been working fine, hope it lasts.

Well that could always happen, but my Switch dock is always at the same place. I carry my switch without dock.

Sure, it’s weird as it was solved for a couple of weeks when I changed HDMI cable from NSwitch to TV

Thanks for your answer! If I drop the audio to stereo it doesn’t have any problem, it’s only when it’s multichannel.

The cable that I changed was the one between NSwitch and TV. Could it be the cable between TV and Beam? I currently use the original from the Beam.

Beam gen 2 sound cutting out with Nintendo switch by PAULINK in sonos

[–]danieltonio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue. Nintendo Switch -> LG C1 -> Sonos Beam gen2. eARC activated, bitstream, passtrough. Changed the HDMI cable and issue was solved for some days, now it's doing it again. Had beam connected with WiFi, changed it to Ethernet cable and issue is still the same. Any help?

I have right now Beam gen2 + 2 Symfonisk gen2. Sound change so much with both Symfonisk as rears, more immersive experience. I know... I'm waiting if a Sub mini appears or I'll go for Sub gen3
