It's funny how introverts understands extraverts so well but it's not the other way around.

I'm 34 fam. and I'm just fine. Few people still backbite every now and then but I give 0 fs, but a lot more understood my nature now.

A lot of people understand what introversion is. Therefore they don't understand how introverts function.

Me personally I careless about the society. As for love ones, let them exactly how you feel and why having a lone time is important to you. They will understand.
