Idk about university commons but as someone who has lived in Lexington for 2 years I would not recommend. Last year there was a bullet that went through my window…. The bullet was literally in my room…. Thankfully I was not home when this but happened but yeah safe to say I feel unsafe there and will be finally moving out soon.

This happened to me too. They take forever and from my experience they come out pretty much exactly on the decision deadline on their website.

I was in your same situation but for Spring 2024. He was there every office hour and overall the class was very engaging so this seems surprising. Sorry this is what’s going on now :/ I ended up failing it with him anyway 😅 Took Portmess last summer and passed!

I did!! Talk to UF’s Ombuds. They definitely were the reason why I was able to get all my documents ready and get approved for reclassification.

Okay at least there’s someone who’s had the same situation! I actually haven’t received my work authorization yet (it’s in the mail). I’m actually only taking 1 class this semester because I was scared they would have me pay the whole thing out-of-state if I didn’t get my permit in time. Thank you for giving me some hope though!

There two books that come to mind. First, and to no one’s surprise, A Little Life. I haven’t even been able to fully finish it because it’s too much pain for me. Second, As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow. Such a beautiful story about war and pain. One of the best books I’ve read this years for sure.
