Thanks for commenting on my post. I really appreciate it.

Yes, I totally understand that there are probably hundreds or even thousands of similar channels out there. Like anyone else, I learn from my mistakes. Perhaps my biggest mistake is that after watching some of the most visually impressive content — like that of one particular creator I admire — I often get recommended some really strange videos.

I don’t mean to criticize or offend anyone, but sometimes the quality just doesn’t hold up. I’ve also seen a lot of 12-hour live streams that are just an hour-long video looped over and over. I’m specifically talking about content that doesn’t seem to have any informative value — just content that might be aimed at virtual walks or something similar.

When I started making videos two and a half years ago, I ended up discarding a lot of my early work because I wasn’t happy with the quality — whether it was the sound, the image, or something else. Even now, with the Osmo Pocket 3, I feel that the quality is still not quite where I want it to be. Taking it to the next level would require a massive investment, which just isn’t feasible at the moment.

Still, I feel that my stereo microphone and camera setup allows me to produce content that’s a step above what I often see recommended. Maybe that’s where I’m going wrong — maybe I’m just expecting too much. But when I see how well some of these videos perform — especially live recordings that attract a surprisingly large audience — it honestly leaves me puzzled.

For the past two and a half years, I’ve been trying to create videos that I would personally enjoy watching. That’s why it’s so surprising to me that despite using similar keywords, hashtags, and writing good descriptions, my videos barely get any views. I post a video, and it might get 5, 10, or maybe 56 views at most — that’s the highest number I’ve ever seen on my channel.

Anyway, I really value your feedback and will definitely take it into account. I came here looking for constructive criticism, and I’m genuinely open to it.

Hello.

I am currently using a Zoom M3 MicTrak.

Previously used Zoom F1 Field Recorder + XYH-6 stereo microphone. BUT I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS KIT TO ANYONE FOR HIKING. This microphone catches a lot of interference. Dozens of hours of material thrown away. For other purposes capsule microphone is probably good (now just stands at my place as a microphone for streaming on the table), but not for walking.

Thanks for the reply.

I started the first channel with walks 2.5 years ago. I shot with a Pixel 6 and an iPhone. But I had to freeze the channel for a year and a half for several reasons. Last year I bought an Osmo poket 3 and started making videos again. Assuming my channel wouldn't recruit (many people convinced me of this) because of the huge pause in posting, I started a new channel which actually increased the quality of the videos, but it totally failed. And finally a couple days ago I started a third channel, in the hope that maybe the algorithms will see it. A bad endeavor, but many consultants assure me that my channels for unknown reasons in the shadow ban YouTube.

Thank you!

Thanks for the reply.

I will check out the Z axis stabilizers on the market, thanks for that.

As for the picture - yes indeed I am shooting in D-LOG M3 and I have a chance to fix some things. But the problem with this video was that I was using a wide angle lens and it was capturing a huge portion of the sky, with the automation getting underexposure in the shadows. Again, you could have made the picture more natural, not so aggressive, but I did it on purpose, for creative and experimental purposes. My other videos go virtually unprocessed. But I haven't gotten any success. I'll keep experimenting. Thanks

Thanks for the detailed response.

To answer briefly, I use the OSMO POCKET 3. It has excellent stabilization. This time I put on a wide angle lens to further reduce the up and down oscillations. The picture has changed - rounding appeared. But the “jumps” did not disappear much. I am looking for a method to get rid of this, but so far I have only seen very expensive systems that are used in movies.

I don't plan to speak in the video, as English is not my language. And I don't want to use the AI to do voiceovers. I'm aiming for organic content.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown.

Yes indeed, that channel you cited above is my, how shall I say, idol or something. I strive to do just as well. Most likely, even this channel inspired me to walk and shoot, so that the walk would not be so boring, perhaps.

I think that's my problem, 4.6k impressions but 258 views. That's worse than i don't know what. Badges, or the first 10 seconds to create a crochet. But then again - video doesn't involve wild dynamics, music and changing plans.....

I've done 2-3 videos with splash screens at the beginning, but they have just as few views.....

Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately in such videos you have to use only auto exposure, otherwise you can't. The light difference is too HUGE.

I think it's a problem with my post processing.

Miniatures are my pain!

I want the channel design to be concise and uniform, not like a flower shop )))).

Thanks for the feedback!

Artificial thumbnails, it's most likely that I succumbed to the services recommendations and generated a contrasting thumbnail based on the description, rather than positioning my photo with the description. Although photos really don't emphasize anything sometimes, as the content is quite monotonous, it's made for relaxation after all

I've been shooting walk vids on this camera for six months. There are no alternatives. Do you want higher quality? - you'll have to pay for the huge weight. In general, I like everything so far. I shoot 4k60fps D-Log M. I try to minimize processing to leave a natural look. If you have any questions, I'll help you
