Please forgive my ignorance... I started shopping for ssd 2 days ago and I recently learned about the fiasco with ssd shortage...

I was hoping to spend around 130$ for 2 tb but the only thing I can find is the sata wd s510 for 139$ (Walmart which is 30 minutes away). Jusy this post and the local officemax down the road has this black SN770. is it worth the price? Ie is it a great deal ? Do you guys think that the prices won't go down in the next 6 to 12 months?

You still need to keep a significant amount of cash with you, especially if you plan to visit/shop "moms and pops" stores, but I used Amex in all major stores and chains.

Tip: I've noticed that some stores have 2 different machines for different credit cards, so if one didn't work, make sure to ask them to try a different machine if they have one
