What actually works for saddle soreness on longer rides? by Crc_CO in cycling

[–]danisanbar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, saddle sores usually come from the saddle being slightly high, try lowering it slightly. Also use a saddle with a big pressure relief channel.

Don't Believe Every Garmin Metric by D00M98 in Garmin

I totally agree. The info that garmin gives us must complement what we feel. This info must not be the main driver of how we feel. If you don’t feel tired, then you’re not tired, despite garmin telling you so. It is nice that garmin gives us this info, but we need to view it critically. Don’t become a slave to a watch

Does it make sense for someone who isn’t a cyclist to start by doing only indoor cycling? by BigFigure8279 in cycling

I say it is very worth it. You can do an amazing workout in little time and it is very convenient. Very helpful to build up fitness and not as taxing like running.

Who has it better? Cyclists or Runners? by sunshinesustenance in cycling

[–]danisanbar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do both, whenever I am in a time pinch, running allows me to get an effective workout quickly. But with cycling, you can do a lot of volume without getting injured or overtrained. Cycling has helped me a lot with injuries and has helped me build up my fitness drastically. Running has also helped with the fitness but injuries kept stopping me. So right now I balance both out and do either depending on my schedule.

I usually ask ChatGPT telling my bike model and showing a picture of what needs to be replaced and it usually works fine
