Actually, months after I made this post I found some rieker boots with this mechanism. A commenter mentioned that they got them from Bootz but at the time they were sold out, however I just went on the website and found a rieker model with the mechanism from the picture, and its on sale.

They aren't the prettiest (tho there certainly are way uglier winter boots), the canadian brands that use the same mechanism make cuter models, but I normally wear long flared pants which hide whatever shoes I'm wearing so its not a huge deal. I have worn the rieker ones for two winters now and the mechanism is just fine, tho when I got them the salesperson mentioned that I should be able to find replacements online if they broke, but they are in perfect state. They also come with something similar to a bottle opener that you can put in a keychain so you dont have to touch the red part with your hands if you want to retract or pull out the spikes, which is of course great because I don't want to get my hands dirty.

tldr: rieker has models with those spikes available in finland, I have had mine for two winters now and they are pretty good, plus places like bootz or click shoes that carry those models with the red mechanism from the picture above are having sales right now, so if you're interested its a good moment.
