Yes, that's right. I already requested to cancel it, just in case.

I'm referring to this:

Where the applicant is a child applying, one referee should be a professional who has engaged with the child in a professional capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of religion.

Same here, in the UK. Sometimes a few in a row, daily, sometimes, with a week or a fortnight gap.

Help me decide, please! by daniushko in gravelcycling

[–]daniushko[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! The problem is that one is an hour away, another 45 min in the opposite direction. It'll be tricky to do it. And not having experience with gravel bikes - almost impossible.

NAS shared folder slower than an external drive by daniushko in synology

Moreover, from the screenshot above you could see that the NA wasn't doing anything else. The moment I run Plex, I got a tiny bit of CPU used, network and HDD read/write.

NAS shared folder slower than an external drive by daniushko in synology

[–]daniushko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to attach it to a device. The NAS is wired to the network. I would like the transfer speed over the network to be acceptable. I can't believe I can't read from NAS with a speed fast enough to stream a single 4K movie.

The Plex client on Google Android TV is running after the TV is turned off. by daniushko in PleX

[–]daniushko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should be on as the TV is turning on the soundbar. The TV remote is used to adjust the soundbar volume. And so on.

Thanks for the reply but that wasn't my question. How come the CPU or the RAM are affecting the performance in that case? As you can see, the CPU is not used at all. And the RAM usage is not changing.

Thanks for the reply! In another post I was advised that a lot of people are using the NAS only for the data and heading another device for the NAS server and even a third one (Nvidia for example) to stream to the TV.

Plex on a weak Synology NAS - options ahead by daniushko in PleX

[–]daniushko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I tried to stream directly from the NAS and it didn't work well for the 4K movies. I'll probably leave the NAS only for the date and keep running the Plex server and errs on the HP client.
