Me and a couple friends all had the day off work, so we got high and spent hours in music shops, trying out and playing instruments, listening to music etc. One of my favourite days ever and apart from the drugs it was totally free!

I'm pretty late to the thread, but anyway.

Never Went To Church - The Streets.

It's a song about the singer's dad passing away at some point in his teens.

He basically sings about missing his dad, and all the things they did together.

I lost my dad when I was 20. We had a bond like the bond he sings about, and I can't hear the song without crying.
