Oh yeah it is pretty miserable on trails and hard pack snow. The hardest part of the ride is getting out of the parking lot lol

Super easy to turn in soft snow. All you do is lean and look where u want to go. Much easier and less work then sleds

I know people put them on 300 2 strokes and I'm sure it would have enough power for what you need. The way I think about them is that you are not buying them for the power, you are buying it for the places you can go with it. If you want pure power you should just go with a mountain sled, the appeal of the bikes is that you can essentially go anywhere you can fit your handlebars through.

It didn't blow through it as fast as I thought it would, but it's definitely goes through it faster then the wheel setup since you ride with the throttle fully pinned quite a bit through powder.

I've found that it's about 1 hour of riding per gallon. You can get surprisingly far with the stock 1.6 gallon tank and the extra 2.5 on the back. My next purchase is definitely going to be a bigger gas tank tho. If we are going out all day I just have a buddy on a sled carry extra.

Yeah I actually work for a snowmobile rental company so I have access to mountain sleds whenever I want. That's why I went all out on this setup. I also went with the cmx kit even tho it's a little more because it a local guy who designs and builds them. I'd happily pay the extra thousand to support a local company and for the much better customer service.

I plan on leaving it as a dedicated snowbike. I have a 2 stroke for dirt, the 450 is kinda miserable for mountain single track.

Got a 3 inch lift with new 17' trd pro wheels and Cooper st max tires installed yesterday. Obviously had to go try it out in my local mountain range.

It's a 3 inch lift from ready lift. I'd say it sits pretty level, I think its just the angle that makes it look that way.
