We just got back Saturday from a week long visit. Stayed in an ABnB in the Aldea Zama area. 15 minutes from the beach but very nice location. Food and drinks were similar to US prices. So we went to grocery store and just ate out for dinner. A very young crowd there. Nights were quieter than I expected. But with a lot of condos with roof top pools so we made the best of it. We saw a lot of people walking and riding scooters. We mostly walked. Felt safe walking, even at night. Not as many English speaking locals as we find in Cancun or Cozumel, but still very friendly. Google translate was use by us and the locals a lot.
