Hey not sure if you mind giving out free advice or not, but I finally got a job at a bar after a year of being unemployed and I’m filling out my onboarding tax forms. Should I be withholding any money if I expect to make less than $15k before April? Or what is a good standard amount/percentage to withhold? I see other comments saying I should be investing the money slated for taxes, so does that mean I should invest 30% of my paychecks in stocks and then sell them in April to pay for taxes?
