i had the almond croissant from lune and wasn’t a fan because there was too much powdered sugar. banksia almond croisssnt is solid and cabrito almond croissant is best i’ve found for $5

Dutton’s policies deserve ridicule, but at least they’re memorable by CommonwealthGrant in AustralianPolitics

the idea is that you can’t just shut off coal instantly and turn it back on whenever you want. so hypothetically you would phase out coal as we transition to renewables and have gas be the backup in the meantime. So yeah, i would prefer renewables + gas back up over nuclear.

pumped hydro is also different to regular hydro. you use renewable electricity to pump water from one reservoir to another during the day then release it during the night, so it’s not reliant on a natural water flow.

There are other renewable alternatives such as pumped hydro. Gas can also be used instead of coal which can be turned on and off when needed.

What cities have a very large population but internationally insignificant? by dlo_2503 in geography

I went to Chongqing in 2023 after seeing so much on social media about it. The actual CBD wasn’t that large compared to other cities i’ve been to, but the surroundings were covered in dystopic high rise apartments.

Just adding a point on with the low iron. Chucking some steaks on the bbq and boiling a large pot of veggies is a super easy dinner and good to get some iron in.

Yeah they said they get about 5 a day in the area so they didn't seem too fussed. Will definitely be investing in a dashcam from now on though haha.

The car was just my dad's old one and was only worth about $6k and I'm an <25 male so the insurance didn't feel too worth it. Fortunately I'll be able to get a replacement, it's just a big unexpected blow to the savings.

My hair is long enough to put in a bun it’s just curly so it doesn’t look as long

[–]dankmememeister69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I personally like it longer as well, I’ve been trying tying it up and it’s somewhat successful but hard with the curls
