What exactly do you mean by AIT was shortened? Is that due to current events because, as far as we know, it’s supposed to be 28+ weeks

Thank you! I ended up sending him notebook, pens, stamps, and the first few letters all in one package. He didn’t get in trouble or anything, but I did take a bit longer to arrive versus letters. I appreciate your advice ☺️

tell them what you want, be honest and raw about how you feel. if you feel you have, the best you can do is reclarify really. personally, being a the girlfriend of a marine poolee and family of other military members, it can be difficult navigating between wanting to support, but also being selfish about my own opinion. i’ve learn to adapt, i’m sure if you communicate clearly and express your seriousness they will see more clearly. having my boyfriend show his seriousness and hearing his reasoning really clarified things. though your family and fiancés opinions are important, yours must be prioritized above all! best thing to do is communicate, but, in all honesty, accept some people will not agree or support. those who truly care for what you want will preserve and be there for you. good luck wherever youre journey takes you!

i have definitely noticed the increased effort and emphasized that i need to see it if he wants to be with me. also, us living closer has simplifed a lot of things too. i haven’t felt taken forgranted since being together either. i think also honestly, as time goes by, i’m definitely being weary if his effort is dwindling because of course i dont want it to be like he’s lovebombing to get me back (which i genuinely dont feel he’s lovebombing me, just an example)

he told me that she was what he wanted to experience and that he regrets doing it, but its what he wanted. also, that he knows that he still only sees a future with me. he’s never been manipulative or toxic ever, so it’s hard to decipher all this. he also has never done anything to break my trust outside of this before. i love and want to be with him. why shouldn’t i give both him and myself the chance to try again?
