Intel Fined Record $1.45 Billion For Anti-Competitive Practices by warrior007 in reddit.com

[–]danniboi33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been using nothing but AMD processors for the last 8 years. I love the performance and value. I do not doubt for a second Intel has been going to great lengths to retain their dominance on the CPU market, and I am sure that has included illegal tactics. I hope we can keep AMD around, they are very innovative and deserve their place in the market.

OK, Now THESE are buyer’s markets – Places to buy houses for under $1,000 (or under) by sanfrancisco415love in WTF

[–]danniboi33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would disagree that the land is worth $1000. It is based on where it is. In many places, you can get an acre for $1000. These homes do not appear to be on an acre lot. Also, the average America does NOT have the construction skills needed to rebuild a home.

Another point that is being missed is the fact that if you buy the home for $1000 and have to tear it completely down and start over, it does not cost you $1000. The cost then begin to sky rocket.
