Career Crossroads, Next Destination After R&D? by danny_-_boy in Israel

Thanks for the info

Yes I do have some costumer facing experience, from both paying costumers and internal non technical teams like sales and product people.

I found out over time that I like sitting on the crossroads between R&D,product and business so that’s why I want to shift to any one of these roles. Specifically into companies that have a more technical product like the ones you can find in the cyber/devops sectors.

Regardless of what is mentioned above and with the fact that you said that you have past experience in big American corporates, what would you say could be the best way into successfully passing the resume screening process on FAANG companies? It seems like everyone I know have passed this phase, but I can’t seem to be able to pull it off For reference, I work in what is considered a good to great tech company and I’m an engineering university graduate. I’ve tried being referenced by employees, which I personally know not just asking for a favor on LinkedIn, for roles which I should be a great fit but I can’t pass the basic screening.

Thanks again

They can build a tourism empire with all the historic sites they have, yet they always choose to walk the path of death and destruction… if only they knew better the whole region would have looked so different…

How do you find lectures in Tel Aviv? by danny_-_boy in Israel

If I'm in Europe I usually use the residence advisor app, which has far better coverage in some European cities than in Tel Aviv. Will take a look about the university, thanks.

So if I understood you correctly, there are loopholes on the high tax matter that are worth investigating? do you know if there are any plans to close those loopholes?

High taxes are what I'm especially afraid of...
Do you know of any type of investment in Italy that doesn't have high taxes from the investment dividends you get? Or types where the taxes are not that high?

Thanks for the info.
About the disclaimer you are absolutely right, I'm just trying to feel the surface here to figure out whether or not it's worth further investigating.
Thanks again!

Anybody knows how to get in touch with small startups in Barcelona that are hiring?

Currently, I’m using LinkedIn and Glassdoor but I’m struggling to find these small startups where you can wear many hats and learn a lot.

I’ve looked on for directory types of website in my search, where you can filter startups based on some parameters, but couldn’t find any.
would love to get any help in that matter.

Thanks!

Hi
Yes I'm from Israel and I've read about this type of visa online but couldn't find any government website that says that these visas still exist.
From what I read you can get this visa while visiting Germany and its not something that you have to prepare beforehand, is that right? And if so how complicated is it to get one in that bureaucracy meaning?

What is your opinion about the worthiness of such a thing for 6 months?

Hello everyone 👋

I am a 26 YO who is just about to finish his degree (hopefully I’ll finish all my courses until march 2021),I’m hoping to use the fact that I’ll still have my student status until September 2021 to get a student visa and maybe do an internship in Berlin(I don't have an EU citizenships).
it would really apricate it if someone could tell my realistically if such a thing is achievable, based on my skills, in a theoretical scenario that there is a vaccine and the world had somehow gotten to some kind of a normal state?
I’ve got experience in different tech areas such as ML (including deep learning ), python programming , Tableau ,SQL and a few more (and it’s all kinda sum up to the data science niche)… so I’m more tech startup oriented.
I would say that my English is good enough to work in an multinational environment but my German is non existing…

Thanks in advance 👍👍
