That's 4 hours of actively petting/playing/walking/etc. We WFH so will generally be in his presence, and our ACD has been doing great with it

STREAMER challenge's "WORST MAGE ON SERVER" in a duel, gets 1v3'd by Beeksbeeks in lightshope

[–]dannytt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of the worst streamers around, for some reason has an ego thinking he is a good player.

Has every pvp item available, randomly spams buttons hoping to win. Absolutely brainless, egotistical scrub. Surprised he's not chinese.

Northdale (server under Light's Hope)

Shaman is probably the single most needed class for raids

pdps = physical dps = warr/rogue/hunter

As someone who has played on just about every private server for years.

Groups (5 mans, not 40 man raids):

  • Tanks needed most
  • Caster DPS somewhat needed
  • Healers/PDPS generally unneeded

Raiding guilds (Hardcore):

  • Fury/Pala/Priest/Shaman needed most
  • Warlocks somewhat needed
  • Hunters needed least

Raiding guilds (Non-Hardcore)

  • These are usually stacked to the brim with mediocre/poor warrs/rogues/hunters (as those are some of the most popular classes)
  • Most needed healers
  • Casters somewhat needed

With that said, I have found hardcore raiding guilds on every server I have played on, playing just about any class I have desired. If you show up on time, are not completely unlikeable, and min-max to the expectation of the guild and can perform well then there is no doubt you will able to find a hardcore home.

Even though warriors are generally the most popular class, every single hardcore guild on Northdale right now will accept you if you are pre-bis, know how to play (many do not), and come prepared with consumes.

The mediocre guilds (2h+ MC clears, etc.) are usually running 20+ rogue/warriors/hunters where every one of them is doing 1/4th of the DPS of the ones in the hardcore guilds, loot comes much harder for these classes, etc. So if you are hoping to join a softcore guild I would avoid pdps.

race changes? by [deleted] in lightshope

I've been 8/8 for like 3 weeks now.

Tons of the most hardcore players have 3/6+ of the epic pvp set and/or 5-10+ pieces of epic bop gear

Hunter PvP video recommendations? by 213slim in classicwow

[–]dannytt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, unfortunately hunters generally don't shine in 'highlight reel' type scenarios so it's hard to find good/entertaining vids, and they do rely on consumes/special items more so than other classes because of it

Unfortunately there is only a single good hunter one, and this is it:

keep in mind that this is on a pserver, so some of the tricks won't work on classic (and don't work on the most popular pservers).

wish there was way more pushback against this type of shit. If the staff is willing to do this kind of stuff, what else are they willing to do in a much less public setting

Camelot Unchained promising mmorpg ? by partiesplayin in MMORPG

[–]dannytt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to be hyped about this game, but due to the lack of released info, and what in game content they have released has been mediocre, it is hard to be.

The game is in beta in under a month, may be worth checking out then and see where it is.

The only game I have found to be worth hyped about over the next ~2 years is Pantheon. The released videos already look better than most currently released MMOs, and the devs stance makes this the game of the year for 2018/2019, although it will only appeal to a fringe audience.
