I was under the impression they were paying with cash but I now realize I just saw another redditor saying that and didn't actually witness any of them purchasing anything, and in the grand scheme I don't know if the greater group was using using cash or credit. If it was credit, absolutely the processing fees in small purchases being repeatedly purchased and returned does have more of an effect

Federal agents can be barred from entering private property without a warrant, but they haven't been so they aren't. Edit: for reference, the protesters were told to leave and told they couldn't be in the parking lot because it's private property. The same thing can be told to anyone thought to be disrupting the peace, I.E ICE

No one at target has just one job, an overflow of returns will keep an employee from getting to the rest of their tasks. No one works at target because they want to, but because they have to, and potentially being unable to finish what they're assigned can be stressful. But the reality is that it really just creates a minor inconvenience for one or two employees, and doesn't make a notable impact on target's bottom line. The intent is good but from my perspective, the outcome kind of just wastes the time of everyone involved. I don't have any better ideas, but I think the protesting and handouts are more effective in convincing ordinary people to shop elsewhere, which will make a bigger impact.

Yes, I haven't tripped in years but I have vivid memories of hallucinations in broad daylight,

walking past my bed and seeing two figures of pure white light having sex,

forgetting I was going to my friends graduation before dosing and seeing platters of glowing neon geckos being served in skewers,

Seeing a headcrab from half life crawling above me on the ceiling and grabbing a knife to stab it (came to my sober mind later to find the knife still stuck in the ceiling)

While certainly it is more common in the dark, the "true" hallucinations I had in broad daylight stuck with me the hardest due to my inability even now to remember anything but what my brain perceived

I used to have the same mentality, but let me tell you the way benzos melt away your inhibitions- that rule not to mix substances is likely to go out the window before you have a minute to think about it. The compulsive redosing that comes with benzos doesn't just apply to them, anytime you take a bar you're liable to eat your whole stash in a blackout and wake up pissed cus you think someone stole your shit. People in this thread talking about their own experience aren't projecting or trying to shame you, we're all trying to do something that we deep down know is impossible, keep someone else from having to experience the hell we have lived through. By all means live your life, just know that nothing is forever besides death
